Day 1: Monday, March 9: Depart San Francisco (SFO) for Tel Aviv

Day 2: Tuesday, March 10: Arrival and assistance at the Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). Hotel Dan Caesarea

Day 3: Wednesday, March 11: Caesarea & Aqueduct, Mt. Carmel, Megiddo, Mt. Precipice. Hotel: Kibbutz Ein Gev, BLD

Day 4: Thursday, March 12: Boat ride on Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, St. Peter’s fish lunch, Magdala, Mt. of Beatitudes, Land of Gadarenes, Baptism in the Sea of Galilee. Hotel Ein Gev, BLD

Day 5: Friday, March 13: Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Lebanese lunch, Banias Falls, Golan Heights, Valley of Tears. Hotel Ein Gev BLD

Day 6: Saturday, March 14: Jordan River Valley Drive, Beit Shean, Gideon’s Spring, Qumran. David Resort, Dead Sea, BLD

Day 11: Thursday, March 19: Temple Mount, Lithostratus/Antonia Fortress, Pool of Bethesda, Elah Valley, Garden Tomb, farewell dinner at hotel. Transfer to airport for all not going to Petra.

 

Our tours are physically demanding. You’ll be walking 2-5 miles a day on uneven ground, hilly trails and challenging stairways, including bus travel on winding roads. You should be in good physical condition before we leave. We don’t recommend the tour for people needing wheelchairs, walkers or for young children as most sites lack handicapped access. Day 14: Sunday, March 22: Tour the Rose-Red city of Petra. Hotel Petra Guest House

Day 15: Monday, March 23: Depart Petra. Visit Madaba, Mt. Nebo. Border crossing to Israel. To Tel Aviv for flight home.

Day 16: Tuesday, March 24: Arrive home
